Abstract
Vocal Traditions is a series in the Voice and Speech Review that highlights historically important voice teachers and schools of thought in the world of vocal pedagogy. This article explores the history and use of Vibrant Voice Technique (VVT) and its creator, Professor David Ley, along with a discussion of how new instructors are incorporating VVT into their teaching and coaching. Representative instructors include those who teach actors, singers, executives, and yoga students. VVT is not a stand-alone method; rather, it serves as an enhancement and tool for voice teachers.
