Abstract

Various compositions have been developed for preservation of machine parts [i]. For protection of petroleum and chemical equipment during storage and transportation K-17 preservation oil and PVK protective lubricant are widely used. However, with the use of these materials the parts must be in covered areas and to provide the required protection time a large consumption of materials is necessary. For example, the cons~unption of PVK lubricant is 400 g/m s . They are not used for preservation of the inner surfaces of heat exchangers and vesels because of technical difficulties in application.
