Abstract
SUMMARYOf forty‐seven clones of horseradish, originating from several different countries, tested, 30 contained sap‐transmissible viruses; arabis mosaic virus was obtained from 53 per cent of the clones, cabbage black ring spot virus from 36 per cent and cauliflower mosaic virus from 13 per cent. Apical‐meristem culture freed a clone from cabbage black ring spot and cauliflower mosaic viruses.
