Abstract

Background and Aim: Oocyte vitrification (Vit) is a possible method, which protect female fertility for the future in assisted reproduction technology. Given the large size, the low surface to volume ratio, low membrane permeability, the formation of ice crystal can occur in vitrification. Recently, it was reported that nano particles (NPs) could hinder ice formation during the vitrification. This investigation was conducted to clarify Ice inhibitor rules of super para magnetic nano particles (SPIONs) on mice mature complex cumulus oocytes (COCs).
