Abstract

s / Injury, Int. J. Care Injured 43 (2012) 1623–1625 1624 radius fixation with ORIF or nailing. Flexible nails were generally superior to Kirschner wires for intramedullary stabilisation. Conclusions: Single-bone fixation is a viable treatment option. Although more technically-demanding, this review suggests single-bone fixation of the radius provides better outcome in these injuries, regardless of fixation method. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.injury.2012.06.018
