Abstract
Research has suggested that children with ASD often do well when treatment strategies are present in a visual domain. Additionally, the children tend to prefer many visual-based strategies. In this chapter, two visual strategies with a strong evidence base, visual activity schedules and scripts, will be discussed. The literature for each will briefly be presented, and each strategy will be explained with a “How To” procedural guide to facilitate the successful implementation of these evidence-based strategies.
