Abstract

Electromagnetic fields in radial line slot antenna (RLSA) are simulated and visualized by the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) approach. Several types of slot arrangements are adopted and considered. Moreover, by using a Fourier transform scheme, rotational distribution of inner fields is calculated. The rotational asymmetry by the perturbation of the slots on the top plate is demonstrated. This method would be a powerful tool for RLSA analysis.
