Abstract

Euler and Hasse diagrams are well-known visualisations of sets. This paper introduces a novel type of visualisation, Tabular diagrams, which is essentially a type of Euler diagram where lines have been omitted or a 2-dimensional Linear diagram. Tabular diagrams are utilised to visualise lattices in comparison to Euler and Hasse diagrams. For that purpose, lattice terminology is applied to all three types of diagrams.
