Abstract

The study of sources of visual terrorism propaganda the ability to explain between the fields of criminology, politics, history, international relations, psychology, sociology and theology and some other disciplines. Subjective point view of the researcher indicates that political, psychological, sociological approach to the visual terrorist propaganda tool and shape or occur the people`s behavior within the society. The Belfast Murals are an expression of both political importance and a sort of power. It is because the Catholic minority is powerless within the formal political system in Northern Ireland that they have had to develop informal means of mobilizing power, like painting political murals. Arising from powerlessness, the murals represent a form of informal political power belong to their own right. In this study, it is demonstrated an example of visual terrorism propaganda materials from the Belfast Murals whether effective or not over the public opinion. At the end of the study we will have the idea about how to terrorist generate their ideology. It is analyzed that how do the IRA gain public support. Also whether they can utilize visual terrorism propaganda materials efficiently.
