Typical brain 18-FDG PET findings in DLB consist on reduced occipital metabolism and the presence of cingulate island sign (CIS), defined by a relative preservation of the metabolism in the posterior cingulate cortex (PCC) compared with the precuneus and cuneus. We aimed to assess the utility of a semiquantitative CIS score on the differential diagnosis between DLB and AD.
