Abstract

The paper is devoted to the development of software for mathematical modeling of traffic flows, that allows to set initial conditions via a browser-based user interface as well as visually represent the results. The main application of the visual environment is to create a convenient way to run numerical experiments using the cellular automata-based models created by the authors and visualize the results. User interface allows to set initial conditions and modeling parameters, build the computational domain (road network) in an intuitive way and to send these data for computation. Visualization module receives data files from the computational module and renders them, representing them in the form of step-by-step car movement with traffic lights, intersections, marking, etc.
