Abstract
The use of visual display terminals in a Hospital Information System is discussed. Display sequences for common taks such as input of drug orders or diagnostic statements are presented in some detail. The requirements for acceptability in a hospital setting include rapid response time, prestructuring of data and efficient error correction.
