Abstract
Nie, L., 2020. Visual design of marine architecture in coastal cities based on “BIM+VR”. In: Li, L. and Huang, X. (eds.), Sustainable Development in Coastal Regions: A Perspective of Environment, Economy, and Technology. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 112, pp. 421-424. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.BIM (Building Information Model) technology is the inevitable product of the application of information technology in the construction industry. In the design of ocean Building visual conservation, the BIM high-tech platform and 3d data information visualization technology can provide corresponding technical support for ocean building. The application of “BIM+VR” technology in the energy saving design of Marine buildings is analyzed from the aspects of building orientation, building thermal engineering, building lighting and solar radiation, etc. Building virtual model with BIM technology can help architectural designers better understand the details of the project and improve the rationality of the construction scheme. “BIM+VR” technology, with its design features such as visibility, optimization and simulation, makes up for the deficiencies of traditional architectural design methods, provides important data and information basis for the quantitative analysis of energy consumption in Building visual conservation design, and has been widely applied in ocean Building visual conservation design.
