Abstract
A visual communication system for an apartment house where fiber optics is used is presented. It offers a variety of services such as video mail, camera door phones, and video telephones in the apartment house. This system is mainly composed of three parts: digital loop network and analog video bus, apartment house controller, and apartment outlets.
