Abstract
Football has always been one of the most popular sports in the world. However, the level of scientific research in international football is uneven. In order to grasp the development of international football scientific research and promote the competitive level of football in the world, this paper attempts to use modern computer technology and information technology, to clarify the key words, high peer cited authors, key authors and Research Situation of international football academic research. This paper mainly uses modern computer software such as HistCite to analyze the research achievements in the field of football in the core collection of Web of Science from 2010 to 2016. The results show that there is no significant relationship between the distribution of scholars' nationality and the level of soccer competition in this country. There are very few Chinese scholars, and there is still a lot of room for the development of Chinese football academia.
