Abstract
American hydrologists were favored with a visit by the Soviet Hydrometeorological Mission which included Major M. LVOVICH, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, representing the hydrologic interests of the Soviet Union.It was the writer's privilege to assist in the arrangements under which Major Lvovich given the opportunity to visit the Federal agencies interested in hydrologic matters, including the Geological Survey, Corps of Engineers, Forest Service, Federal Power Commission, Soil Conservation Service, National Resources Planning Board, Reclamation Bureau, Carnegie Institute of Washington (Department of Terrestrial Magnetism), and the Weather Bureau.
