Abstract

Mrs Valentina Nikolaeva-Tereshkova visited the Royal Society on 6 February 1964 and was received by the President, Dame Kathleen Lonsdale, Officers and Members of Council. She was accompanied by His Excellency the Soviet Ambassador and Mrs Soldatova, Mr Rumyanzev, Military Attache, Mr Bagrichev, Mr Voronin, and Mr Boyarov, Counsellors and other representatives of the Soviet Embassy and of her party. The visit took place during a short stay in London.
