Abstract

A series of photochromic compounds linked to a benzophenone nucleus were synthetized and evaluated regarding their ability to act as Norrish type II radical photoinitiators, promoting the polymerization of a polyacrylate monomer after the consecutive absorption of LED UV and Vis light.
