Abstract

A good student does not necessarily go on to become a good teacher and an excellent teacher need not have been extraordinary in academics, during his student life. Likewise, in organizations, a good performer does not inevitably grow up to be a great leader. So, what is that unique selling proposition (USP) that makes good performers transcend to inspiring leaders? In this narrative, an attempt has been made to uncover some of the finer points in one’s professional journey - from being a decent individual contributor to an W upright leader.
