Abstract

Supply chains have experienced several incidents that put their performance at risk in recent years, the most recent example being the COVID-19 pandemic that threatened global supply networks. Assessing the vulnerability of supply chains becomes essential, as well as developing operational and continuity plans to mitigate the consequences of disruptions and ensure the continuation of critical processes. Resilience is a strategy to reduce the vulnerability of supply chains, as it provides the ability to avoid disruption or quickly recover from it. Therefore, this research aims to propose a model that contributes to improving resilience in supply chains by integrating Industry 4.0 technologies such as Digital Twin, Internet of Things, and Blockchain that provide end-to-end supply chain visibility.
