Abstract

Two cases of viscus perforation following bilateral ureteroneocystostomy are presented. In each case intraperitoneal perforation occurred during the original surgical procedure when a clamp was blindly pushed through the bladder to grasp the ureter and bring it back into the bladder. These cases illustrate the potential hazards in transvesical ureteronecocystostomy without extravesical mobilization and exploration.
