Abstract

One of the most important flow properties of liquid is its viscosity. In the present paper, two non-equilibrium methods, Poiseuille flow method and Couette flow method, are employed to measure the viscosity of many-body dissipative particle dynamics (MDPD) model. The results obtained by these two non-equilibrium methods are consistent with each other. Based on Poiseuille flow method, we obtain a map for the viscosity of MDPD model with different numerical parameters. Furthermore, the static wetting of microbubbles is investigated by a selected system from the map. The relationship between the contact angle of bubbles and the solid-liquid interaction is obtained, which can be helpful for further microfluidic research and applications based on microbubbles.
