In previous literature, several studies have highlighted both harmful and beneficial effects of electromagnetic fields for human beings and, in particular, possible applications for the treatment of some diseases. In this regard, we hypothesize that a possible application of beneficial effects of electromagnetic fields can be represented by irradiating lethal viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 by electromagnetic fields at frequencies close to the natural resonant frequencies of virus capsid and genome,
