Abstract

The dynamic structure of viruses, including that of the encapsidated viral nucleic acid, has been historically hard to resolve. Our recent work suggests that small angle x-ray scattering is an effective tool for studying the time-dependence of genome release from phages. We continue to explore new strategies for detecting dynamic processes, such as the time dependent assembly of small viruses.
