Abstract

To match the test requirements of advanced train control technology, a Virtual Test and Control System(VTCS) for high-speed trains is designed. It functionally supports automatic scene construction, real-time in-loop verification of optimization and control algorithms, and virtual coupling operation control for multiple trains. Structurally, VTCS consists of four modules, scene automatic construction module, control module, decision optimization module and database module, which are integrated to construct railway virtual operation scenes based on real track data automatically. In addition, a dynamic data interaction interface for decision-making/control algorithms is designed. Then, a decision optimization algorithm based on differential evolution and simulated annealing is tested in VTCS, which support virtual coupling trains operation. The carried out experiments suggest that VTCS can simulate the physical railway operation system realistically and is capable of supporting test and verification of virtual coupling modes effectively.
