Virtual reality patent navigation analysis: a review

Abstract

Patent navigation is a basic research and promotion process to guide and support the benign development of technology and industry by using patent information resources. This article summarizes the achievements of the report “Patent Navigation Analysis Report on Virtual Reality and Related Technologies by the National Patent Navigation Project (University) Research and Promotion Center. The mentioned article analyzes patent applications in the field of virtual reality technology in China and major countries and regions around the world, and draws the key points from the patent perspective. Following the direction of technology research and development, the corresponding intellectual property rights layout strategy is guided. The article also provides suggestions and measures on how to promote the reduction of the dependence on external technology in the new round of technology competition, cultivate innovative competitiveness of innovators, and ensure national technological security in China.
