Abstract

ABSTRACT:This study traces the long-term impact of the 1960s television series The Andy Griffith Show. The analysis emphasizes the relationship between television fan communities and evolving video technology. The findings illustrate how fan engagement has evolved over five decades, yet consistently resists the cultural amnesia associated with modernity.
