Abstract
The project focuses on the welfare of the differently-abled people, specifically on people with Visual Impairment. It focuses on development of a desktop app that allows them to enhance their interaction capabilities offered by desktop devices. It’s a visual based project consisting of few main components such as camera, laptop and earphones mounted together and additional working technologies of the internet interlinked. The mechanism of Virtual Eye takes in input in the form of image/video (multiple frames), the image captured and analyzed with the help of the camera interfaced to the laptop. Hence the object is detected and audio information is conveyed to the visually impaired person through earphones.
