Abstract
A thermal adsorption equation in a virial form is proposed in order to describe the pressure and temperature dependence of adsorption data. This equation permits the elaboration of a method for calculating the isosteric heat of adsorption and for studying its behavior over a wide range of temperatures and pressures.
