Abstract
Based on the analysis of the virial theorem and stress tensor, it is shown that the average energy of the Coulomb system under a static external field in a given volume is completely defined by a one-particle density matrix. In this case, a one-particle density matrix satisfies a closed equation expressing the equilibrium condition in a given static external field. An expression for the pressure of a heterogeneous system of interacting particles is found.
