Abstract

VIII International Scientific Conference "Issues of Physics and Technology in Science, Industry and Medicine" was held at Tomsk Polytechnic University, 1-3 June, 2016.The Organizing Committee included representatives from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Tokyo Metropolitan University, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, ROSENERGOATOM Electric Power Division of ROSATOM, FSUE Mining and Chemical Combine.The Conference brought together specialists in industry, teachers, students and young scientists conducting research in the field of Power Engineering and Nuclear Technology.CONFERENCE SESSIONS:1. Physical and power plants and electrophysical installations2. Innovative materials and technologies for nuclear and 'green' energy3. Mathematical modeling in basic and applied research4. Physical/chemical and isotope technologies in science, industry and medicine5. Radiation and beam-plasma technologies in science, engineering and medicine6. Topical issues of nuclear non-proliferation, safety and ecology of the nuclear industry7.
