Abstract
Popular-science publishing plays an irreplaceable role in the development of a society. In China, the central government pays considerable attention to popular-science publishing and has issued a series of laws and regulations to govern this field. This legislation offers favourable opportunities to strengthen popular science propaganda and to promote popular-science publishing. The study is to discuss the importance of developing quality in popular-science publishing.
