Abstract
By manning duties within NATO structure, the Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) implement their integration aims, facilitate the enforcement of national interests, and acquire knowledge, skills and experiences necessary for their national needs and professional development. SAF members posted to duties within the Peacetime Structure of the Slovenian Armed Forces Abroad (PSSAFA) have to cope with various challenges concerning them personally, their life and work, as well as the life of their families, which have to deal with separation from their important members or with displacement to a completely new and unknown environment. Although the system supporting the duties abroad has been established, it should constantly be monitored and upgraded in order to become even more effective.
