Abstract

Bayesian hierarchical models (BHMs) have emerged as a way to model information from basket trials, but there is limited information on how to use information from BHMs in economic evaluations. In consultation with researchers with expertise in this area, we have published a document that addresses this information gap. Our document describes areas for appraisal that we will consider when assessing economic evaluations informed by BHMs, outlines a set of methods that can be used for informing economic evaluations based on basket trials, and highlights areas for further research.
