Abstract
Der Fachbereich Statistik an der Universitat Dortmund wurde 1973 gegrundet und hat aktuell 10 Professuren, etwa 50 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter und rund 500 Studierende in den Studiengangen Statistik, Datenanalyse und Datenmanagement sowie Datenwissenschaft. Inzwischen haben uber 1000 Personen hier ein Diplom in Statistik erlangt.
