Abstract

Digitizing video is a complex process. Many factors affect the quality of the resulting digital video, including: quality of source video (recording equipment, video formats, lighting, etc.), equipment used for digitization, and application(s) used for editing and compressing digital movies. In this article, an attempt is made to outline the various steps taken for video digitization followed by the basic infrastructure required to create such facility in-house. http://dx.doi.org/10.14429/dbit.22.4.3572
