Abstract
Taking into account the increasing size of the video and its quality, the need to improve the quality of video compression has increased, which has led to the emergence of new ways of video compression. Also, one of the reasons for the emergence of new methods is the transmission of video through streaming services. The purpose of this study is to study video compression methods and determine the scope of these methods. To achieve this goal, a number of tasks were formed, which include the study of the structure of the streaming service, the analysis of input and output information, the study of video compression methods. The final result of this work is the conclusion which method is suitable for a certain area and the choice of the final method for further research.
