Abstract

This article reviews the way that video equipment was used to help train four adults living in a mental handicap hospital who had been chosen as potential candidates for a group home.It describes the idea of video as a teaching aid, the training areas, and how video recordings were used to assist the learning process. It offers further ideas for the use of video in the group home, discusses the use of video as an analytic tool, and concludes by summarising the advantages of video as a teaching aid.
