Abstract

The work of the painter Victoria Cozmolici is the fruit of her plastic investigations based on the formal-stylistic principles morphologically originating from a series of currents of modern and contemporary European art in which the principle of abstraction remains a priority. Approaching the means and methods of figurative abstractionism and abstract expressionism, pop-art style in combination with constructive elements that belong to her own artistic language, the painter carefully approaches the chromatic relationships of the pictorial surfaces as the decorative elements of form configuration. Integrated into nature, the characters and objects represented in the paintings signed by Victoria Cozmolici are often transfigured into silhouettes and female faces, creating original visual rhythms of a particular constructive logic. The theme is focused on everyday life, nature is both the background and part of this life, and the woman, with her soft face repeating the undulations of the plates – bearer of meaning, beauty and spirituality.
