Abstract
Vibrational transition probabilities, Franck-Condon Factors and r -centroids have been evaluated by an approximate analytical method for the A-X system of NH. The r -centroids for the band (υ′, υ″) increase linearly with wavelength; the sequence difference Δ r remains approximately constant. We show results for four new bands of NH.
