Abstract
Attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR ATR) and Fourier transform Raman spectra of l-arginine tetrafluoroborate ( l-Arg.HBF 4) and l-arginine perchlorate ( l-Arg.HClO 4) crystals are reported and discussed. The FT-IR ATR spectrum of l-Arg.HClO 4 is in agreement with previously published FT-IR KBr pellet spectrum, while previously published IR spectrum of l-Arg.HBF 4 is in disagreement with reported spectrum. Possible explanation of this contradiction is proposed.
