Abstract
The vibrational spectra of crystalline KNCSe are reported. Whilst the spectral features in the Raman spectra are in accord with the factor group predictions, an actual factor group splitting is only observed for the ν 1, mode in the i.r. spectrum. A tentative assignment of Raman active two-phonon modes is presented.
