Abstract
The high-resolution infrared emission spectrum of MgF was recorded with a Fourier transform spectrometer. More than 800 rovibrational lines from the ν = 1 → 0 to ν = 7 → 6 bands were assigned. The Dunham coefficients for the X 2Σ + electronic ground state were obtained.
