Vibration of Nonhomogeneous Square Plate with Circular Variation in Density

Abstract

Here, an analysis of vibrational frequency of nonuniform and nonhomogeneous square plate is presented. In view of nonuniformity and nonhomogeneity in plates material, the author considered linear variation in thickness and circular variation in density. The variation of temperature is assumed bilinear (linear along both axes). To analyze the behavior of frequency modes under different variations in parameters, Rayleigh–Ritz technique is used.
