Abstract

Consideration is given to issues of vibration control of the stator core and frame of turbine generators of 300 MW power units and the experience of reducing the vibration of the core and frame of the stator of the TGV-300 turbogenerator manufactured by the Elektrotyazhmash plant and put into operation at the Stavropol’ GRES in 1976. Causes of the vibration of the stator are described. An optimal arrangement of a small number of vibration sensors on the stator core is proposed. They allow identifying the cause and nature of the vibration of the stator and assessing its condition. The data of vibration testing of the stator before and after vibration reduction measures are presented.
