Abstract

From the current context of contemporary spiritualities, we wanted to approach an emerging form of tourism known as spiritual or mystical. In order to do this we have focused on the most important European destination in spiritual milieu: Glastonbury. Based on a qualitative methodology, field observa‑ tions and in‑depth interviews, we got closer to both those who organize these kinds of trips and those who are interested in participating on them. The work presented here is based on a specific case: Sandra and Pablo; a couple of Spaniards who, for several years, have accompanied groups of spiritual seekers on their pilgrimage to this magical and sacred place, emphasizing that they are people from outside the tourism sector.
