Abstract

Abstract: At 4°C, green lacewing, Chrysoperla carnea eggs can be stored for one day in 0.125%; agar solution or in water without any reduction in hatch rate or larval survival compared with eggs kept in air. For eggs kept in solution for two or more days, hatch rate was clearly reduced, but those larvae that emerged survived as long as those emerging from eggs stored in air. No larvae emerged from eggs stored in solution for 8 days.
