Abstract
Piecemeal snare polypectomy is a conventional EMR technique for removal of large sessile duodenal adenomas. However, scarred tissue may prevent adequate vertical dissection precluding a potentially resectable lesion unresectable endoscopically. Here we describe an ESD-assisted EMR technique in removal of such lesions. A 62 year old female was referred to us for an incidentally found large sessile adenoma in the second part of duodenum just distal to the ampulla.
