Abstract

Vegetation found along the narrow valley of Ars Forest, Limonest (Rhône department, France). - This narrow valley, situated on the border between Limonest and Dardilly, is remarkably biodiverse. The vegetation, at least, is extremely varied and the area still relatively wild. Species which are rare close to Lyon, such as Arum maculatum, Carex pendula, Geranium oxonianum (discovered in 2006 and new to the area), Isopyrum thalictroides, Mespilus germanica and Phyllitis scolopendrium, are found there.
