Abstract
AbstractThere are indications that vestibular rehabilitation might be an effective treatment for vestibular migraine. However, randomized controlled trials addressing the subject are lacking. The aim of this study was to describe two patients, one with definite vestibular migraine and one with probable vestibular migraine, their assessment and treatment. Both patients were treated with vestibular rehabilitation and both experienced a reduction in symptoms after only a short period of rehabilitation. This suggests that vestibular rehabilitation might be a cheap and non-invasive treatment for vestibular migraine. Even though this study has a single-case design, we hope that it can be useful for physiotherapists and doctors who meet these patients in their practice.
